This project was formed as a response to the chaos of human actions and their tendencies to exhaust resources around them. As surroundings are altered to human needs, they are also put in molds of functionality. This act has both pros and cons as it may lead to the emergence of new species and therefore new possibilities of interactions, which in turn creates new ways to exist and coexist.
These artworks invite their viewers to wander through unfamiliar scenes, to go beyond reality and to dive into the narrative and the metaphorical side of the compositions. It’s A Parade provides viewers the chance to create their own interpretations of the works through the relationships of forms and colours.
A Journey to an endless end
This series of artworks mirrors our lives from the beginning to the end, or to be precise, to an endless end.
Will there ever be an end after forever, or is it an endless loop of foreverness?
There are ropes attached to us, connecting us to the seen and unseen.
In the wombs, we are fed by them and, as soon as we get out, we are led by them even though they are invisible. Even our hopes are led by ropes.
We might take a rest from this perpetual loop for a second or two, but time and space will never do.

ABOUT
SalahEddin AlQawasmi is a Jordanian cultural practitioner and artist with a background spanning arts, education, and events management.
As an artist, SalahEddin pulls at the threads of the unconscious to depict dreamlike and almost mythic spaces. Ambiguous biomorphic forms and elements of nature come together in vibrant, open-ended narratives, leaving the viewer to discern their meaning.
Beyond his personal art, SalahEddin co-founded Metafour Artist Collective with three fellow artists. Together, they aim to create a vibrant community that promotes collaboration and creativity. Through Metafour, SalahEddin seeks to bring artists together to push the boundaries of artistic expression and spark meaningful conversations about contemporary issues.
AlQawasmi graduated with a B.A in Visual Arts from the University of Jordan, and has held multiple group exhibitions in Jordan, in addition to participating in international art fairs.
